The Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, was at the height of its fame in 1983, serving as the epicenter of Hugh Hefner’s brand of hedonistic glamour. Parties were frequent, lavish, and exclusive, often attended by celebrities, socialites, and Playboy Bunnies.
They ranged from themed extravaganzas like the Midsummer Night’s Dream Party to more intimate movie nights, which were highly coveted invitations. The mansion’s 29-room estate, with its grotto, pool, game room, and zoo, provided a backdrop for events that blended sophistication with debauchery. Guests could expect gourmet food, top-tier cocktails, and entertainment, sometimes including performances or exotic animals.
While some accounts, like those from Pamela Anderson, describe the parties as “wild but respectful,” others, such as Jenny McCarthy’s, suggest the grotto was a site for less glamorous, sometimes “gross” encounters. Security was tight, and Hefner carefully curated guest lists to maintain exclusivity, often requiring personal invitations. Rumors of drug use and sexual escapades were common, though a 1990s attendee noted that such activities were discreet, with the overall atmosphere resembling a “regular party” on a grand scale.

‘Playboy After Dark’ was on TV, in B&W of course, the good olde days.
Yeah, she looked great. Big hair back then.
I think some of it was in color too. He interviewed Sharon Tate and her husband in one episode.
I just went there for the nose job. You are right. Literally looks a bit like a skeletal skull. She kinda looks like joni mitchel.
IMO, everything you need to know about Hefner, and all mankind, for that matter, can be found in a quick reading of Ecclesiastes.
Was Bill Cosby there too?
Hefner was an evil demon, leading the way to a world addicted to porn and a massive rise in divorce and decline in birth rates.

Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes. He had more women than Hefner. Unless Hef had more than 700. God still tolerated him. I’m pretty sure Solomon will be among the redeemed.

And he was still not beyond the grace of God. Peter said those who crucified Christ could have repented.
How is his brother Series?

Hey, it does look like Joni Mitchell. thanks.
Hugh got more A listers on tape molesting children than Epstein.
Diddy was doing for 30 years so he has a lot on tape.
Now that Diddy is out of circulation, who is running their operation now ?
Losers idolized that guy, but the reality was he was desperately insecure and a slave to his beastly passions. He derived no genuine satisfaction from his sins and did more to hurt America than any other living person.
Except, maybe Lyndon Johnson.
WE are free from sin. ONLY ONE will bear the mark of sin:
2 But how shall I then know Thee
Amid those hosts above?
What tokens true will show me
The object of my love?
Thy glories, all excelling,
In pure effulgence shine;
But glory in Thee dwelling
Will ne’er proclaim Thee mine.
3 Thy wounds, Thy wounds, Lord Jesus,
Those deep, deep wounds will tell
The sacrifice that frees us
From self, and death, and hell!
These link Thee once for ever
With all who own Thy grace;
No hand these bonds can sever,
No hand these scars efface.
Exactly. And Solomon learned from it.
I call it, “the old rich guy, after getting all the chicks, the Ferrari’s, the yachts, the villa in the alps, realizing it’s all pointless. And what really matters is our relationship with our creator.
And this speaks to Jesus breaking down the ten commandments into two commandments. The only two things that matter: Our relationship with our God, and a subset of that, our relationship with our fellow man. Everything either compliments or detracts from those two things.
I read one of the “bunnies” who was a permanent resident complained the dogs peed on the carpet giving the place a urine smell.
At least Hefner had the chance to get out of Chicago and he took it.
“Hugh stayed too long.”
Yeah it was sad. He was trapped in a self-made character that he felt he had to continue forever instead of evolving and growing up.
