Bad idea. You’ll just create a martyr by assassinating the Ayatollah. When we overthrew Mossadegh and built nut-shocking SAVAK from the ground up, we made the islamists look like the martyrs and the movement grew. Now we’ll murder the Ayatollah, and have another 20 years of him being idolized and feted... and more terror will be coming.
