Why not? Because they mistakenly think all the other communist countries have done communism the wrong way and are not successful, but somehow the USA will be able to do communism the right way and it will be great.
You would think they would humble themselves enough to realize that, due to human nature, Communism will never work. You can see the latest example (South Africa) crumbling before our eyes and becoming a homicidal Communist “democracy.”
