Game 6 of the 1993 World Series. Noted as the second walk off home run to end a World Series by Joe Carter. Mazeroski in 1960 was the first. A game like that will kind of stick in one’s memory.

Yep. No helmets, no visors, goalies didn’t wear masks. Most players didn’t have their front teeth. Someone would take a puck to the face, go down to the dressing room, get a few stitches and be back on the ice in 10 minutes.
Yeah. I’m a Texas Stars fan and I thought our team was better than the Dallas team this year. IMHO. Dallas kept taking our best guys and we still had a good team.
I’m old enough to remember watching that game on a black and white tv. I was 10.

The original six lasted from around WWII to 1967. Prior to that the NHL had around 10 teams back in the 1930s. Clearly some teams folded and the NHL experienced some shrinkage.
I’m not sure. I really don’t care as long as they hold on to Hintz and not let him go. I’ve been cheering Roope since he came to Cedar Park as a rookie. Robertson isn’t consistent. I always liked Joel Kiviranta better when they were all playing for Texas at Cedar Park.
A lot of people from up north moved to Florida.
