Oh my lord.
😳
Also an underground nest popped up in my backyard because I haven’t been in the house since the fire.
My uncle came down with his tractor to put stuff in a dumpster and they all came out like a squadron of horror.
He didn’t even flinch as they stung him but I was far away tossing bee spray cans to him.
Later the contractor did digging and foundation pouring somehow there was gravel dumped over the general area of the nest.
Two months ago I saw a couple yellowjackets flying around put those hanging traps up for them.
No idea why but there’s been none in the traps
I’m * hoping* the nest or queen or whatever is gone because of the gravel.
I cannot have them attacking my dogs if/when we finally go home.
Well, it is after all, Friday the 13...
Sometimes you don’t know you’re allergic. I know a man who almost died of a sting in his 60s; he’d just never been stung before.
Fortunately, the ambulance guys got to him just in time. NOW he carries an epipen.
