There will be no Civil war—No big issue to center it upon, unlike that little dust up in 1861-5. Who would fight it? The Gay Pride groups? BLM? Antifa Left over hippies? Not enough of then outside the cities? The Illegal question isn’t big enough or emotional enough.Looking at the Democrats they are Mixed up bunch that is only able to start a few riots and get some people to loot stores. If California wanted to leave the republic, who would follow her? China might offer support but little else. Trump would crush it fast and few Californians would rally for Newsom under the Bear Flag. How many movie stars would join him? Few if any. Many Californians would rally to Trump. No civil War.

Don't be distracted by the effeminate types, the psychotics, and the drug addled losers you see on the streets of Los Angeles, or even the trash who tear up and loot stores. Terrorist groups brought into the country by the Iranians, Chinese PLA cadres who are embedded into cities with large Asian-American populations, hitmen from the Mexican cartels, Spetsnaz units from Russia are all present and ready to engage in massive sabotage. There are also militarily trained members of Antifa, the Brown Berets, and other terrorist groups; they are not all the stereotypes of the gay barista or the box wine sipping middle aged cat lady. Cuban or Venezuelan advisers and leftist former U.S. military can train young, fit men of a leftist bent.
These units could easily disrupt the big California cities. Now an attempt by California for independence would fail as they could not control the I-5 and Highway 99 corridors through the conservative Central Valley, even assuming that the California Highway Patrol and California National Guard were loyal to Newsom. At most, they would control the US 101 corridor close to the coast. But with a campaign of nationwide terrorism, possibly throwing in an overseas war to boot, you may have a Red Dawn scenario, with Red Chinese, Mexican, Cuban, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan troops crossing over from Tijuana and Mexicali to secure California and defeat U.S. military and American loyalist forces.

Texas v. White, (1869), U.S. Supreme Court case in which it was held that the United States is “an indestructible union” from which no state can secede.

The Illegal question isn’t big enough or emotional enough.
1) You obviously aren't from the southwest.
2) The illegal question may not be big enough for you, but it is certainly big enough for the illegals, especially the ones sent here to do mischief.
The funny thing about trouble (and war) is that sometimes it comes for you whether you're interested in it or not.
