I was watching live. Noem was delivering her remarks when a loud male voice started up and went on at length. The words were not discernable but the agitated tenor was obvious. Noem continued speaking for a time, then stopped.
At that time the camera vantage captured a moderately heavy man wearing street clothes and a light black jacket pushing toward Noem as he continued a barrage of something unintelligible.
By this time Noem's SS security got to him, saying something and pushed him back. The unknown man did not want to be denied, shoving back hard. Multiple agents were able to get the best of him. As he neared the doorway into the room, the audio pickup, I guess a directional mic, heard him say I am a US senator...I have questions.
He was quite properly ejected from the room.
The man we learned was a Democrat senator went in to cause a ruckus, to get on TV, to manufacture a Dem talking point/fundraising incident and he did that quite effectively.
