You may or may not agree about that being good PR. But instead, you change the subject, and get defensive about, border protection.
Some people are so hypersensitive about Israel, so prone to hysteria, that they respond to statements that were never made.
ummmm, your original question was “Why was she arrested?”
everyone on this board made it clear why she was arrested.
you seem to be focusing on some phony concept of “good press” where most normal freepers focused on the fact that she entered Israeli territory illegally and therefore deported.
you have ignored the questions to you regarding the question of border protection. At least I’m defensive about border protection. you seem to ignore it. considering you are an “American firster”, i would think you would be interested in learning something about border protection since it seems to be a BIG problem in America right now.
some people are so antisemetic that they will jump into any and every article that has the word Israel in it to make a comment.
thought you find this interesting and USEFUL
“The 12 “activists” were brought to Ben Gurion Airport, where they were met by consular representatives from their home countries. Four of them, including Greta Thunberg, signed deportation papers and were deported to their home countries.
Eight passengers, including antisemitic EU parliament member Rima Hassan, who was blocked from entering Israel earlier this year due to her anti-Israel activities, refused to sign the documents and were transferred to a detention facility in Givon. They will later be brought to an Israeli court to authorize their forced deportation.”
