That’s a very unkind thing to say. Has the writer or ANYONE not had a loved one or known someone who struggled with dementia? It’s not a condition to make jokes about. The writer should be ashamed. WHY can’t people be decent anymore? Is that too much to ask?
What's awful is that an entire party ignored that their last president had it, likely had it before he took the office, and it was covered up for years by a cabal of horrid people who loved power.
If that hurts your feelings, it's too bad. It happened, and the more it is pointed out the better. If it's pointed out using less than delicate language, so be it. What they did should shock and enrage us. We are allowed to skewer all of them in the most indelicate of ways for what they did.
I get what your saying however, if the man had an ounce of compassion himself people might have some for him.
He spent 4 years making Americans as uncomfortable as possible...especially we on the right, and I’ll give you an example.
During covid my governor implemented a Monoclonal antibody treatment program for people with covid.
When biden found out how successful it was he cut off providing the treatments to my Red state while at the same time continuing to provide it to blue states.
I can see how it could make it difficult to have empathy for a person that would do things like that.
Anyone we know struggling with dementia isn’t being propped up by half the country as fine to sit in the WH.
