I can remember when Israel did not worry about the hostages and would annihilate any one or group who took an Israeli as a hostage. Now, apologies are offered by Israeli leaders after finding hostages dead and the hostage takers are still breathing.
Certainly we do not need to follow the money now, do we?
It used to be no negotiations with terrorists. But the politics changed that. If you are implying there are bribes, then I don’t understand how that would work. The real reason is that politics has impaired this country, just like in the US. We must learn to be unified against our enemies.
I can remember reading in the book of Joshua how they annihilated every single man, woman and child among their enemies, at the orders of Almighty God. Now they wince at the death of “children” in Gaza, who are just terrorists-in-training.
