This is the start of a huge new escalation of killing.

The post is in the business of war planning?

I suppose no one on this editorial board has ever spoken with a general, nor been in a combat zone. Nor even read the article of war planning

Do they know that Ukraine holds zero interest fo the US? That they are not part of NATO. They are not part of the EU. They are not a democracy. They are not a judeo Christian country

Have these people spoken with anyone of the ranks that they would want to send in to a proxy war?

When the republicans are in charge these people are pro war. When the democrats are in charge they get us into war

Bit nam for instance

They hate that we were in Vietnam nam. Lost 58,000 maimed three times as many yet here they are screaming for war cheering this on

The Ukrainians were never going to win a war against Russia. What is being done with the hundreds of billions we’ve sent them from our bankrupts coffer?

No blood for oil yet when we got back from the desert Clinton increased our dependence on mid east oil by 40%

Perfectly logical and accurate editorial. Bravo.
People who seem to like Russia or Putin or something can’t seem to understand the damage he has done to his own country and people, which is massive.
My own opinion is he doesn’t care. His style of war has always been excessively destructive and at home he eliminates those who might offer him better advice.

“Nor can Moscow complain that Kyiv launched these strikes on the eve of a fresh set of peace talks”

Although that’s exactly what Kiev did. What a load.

Putin already was talking peace, but sniffy the clown is a globalist puppet that doesn’t want peace.

Time to flatten Kiev. Hopefully, our two traitors are still there.

Now I hope Ukraine takes out all of Russia’s oil refineries next and ends the war.

It will escalate the war, not drive out Ruzzians from Ukie Territory.
It reminds me when YouCrayne sunk Ruzzian Ships in the Black Sea.
Big PR Victory for YouCrayne, but did nothing to stop Ruzzia taking
more territory. And it still takes more Ukie Territory everyday.

‘Twould appear that will not end well for either party.
Thanks, Democrats, for sitting on your Obamaholes during the jokster administration of your retarded, crooked, and extremely low IQ president.

This war seems to have parallels to the us revolution battles. A battle style the us had against a more powerful foe using tactics that the British was not prepared.

Interesting that the New York Post editorial board is comprised of mouth-breathing retards.

"an excellent way to push Putin to talk peace" - more like an excellent way to push Putin to exterminate the AFU.

This just shows what a sham all of ukraine's talk about desiring peace has been...

especially all the gloating that has occurred after the attack on russia

Time for Trump to withdrawl his diplomacy team and all arms intended for ukraine and let them and europe manage their conflict.

Who writes this crap? Guaranteed Russia will step it up now. We will be lucky if we make it through this war in one piece.

The people who have egg all over their faces are no doubt Pres Trump and VP Vance, who belittled that guy in that Oval Office and arrogantly told him “you don’t have any cards left“… And there he is smiling, knowing behind the scenes his SBU has been brilliantly planning this attack on aging strategic nuke/cruise bombers at diverse bases all throughout RF for over a year and would he would deploy them soon… Others humiliated certainly are Putin as well as his Soviet useful idiots or assets here on free Republic… And I’m here for it… This Operation Spiderweb is one of the most stunning military attacks in modern military history. A major black eye for Moscow.

No, it's an excellent way to assure Russia responds with such force that Ukraine is forced to surrender.

If you really wanted to see Putin go, then you should be hoping he doesn't respond sufficiently.

There is no chance the Russian masses are going to tolerate anything less than an act of overwhelming force.

Ukraine’s surprise strike deep in Russia — an excellent way to push Putin to talk peace

Assuming the New York Post's Editorial Board is correct in assuming Putin will be pushed into talking peace.

However, it is safe to assume the New York Post's Editorial Board is safe in the Post Building in New York, regardless of what Putin is pushed into doing, so they remotely Find Out.

Ukrainians, not so much, they Personally Find Out.

You should be careful what the NY Post asks for, ... you may get it.

According to a blog post by Lauren Mai at the CSIS | Center for Strategic and International Studies published on May 30, 2025,

The United States’ absence from the 50th anniversary commemorations of the end of the Vietnam War in Ho Chi Minh City, coupled with recent cuts to programs addressing war legacy issues, has strained its relationship with Vietnam.

What’s the NY Post editorial board going to say when they realize all it did was escalate the conflict? I want to see that editorial of apology posted on their website.

An excellent way to push Congress to stop sending $$$BBB to the Comedian, who has apparently proved he can fight with cheap weapons. Let the EUnuchs step up so we can bring down our debt back into the $35 trillion range…
