I don't have a single curtain, shade or blind in the house, but massive numbers of windows. Glazed for maximum sun protection. We get privacy from outdoor plants and use of huge triple screens inside set at angles, then outdoor screens around the front deck to limit visibility. The back is all windows but dense foliage that was once neatly manicured gardens but which has now all reverted to nature. It's just another type of view, I tell myself, to avoid guilt at the vines taking over.
