The Senate Parliamentarian is an unelected bureaucrat and is not mentioned in the Constitution.
Right now, the Parliamentarian is wielding a “veto” power and rewriting legislative bills from elected officials.
This is yet another scam by the Legislative Branch to avoid accountability to the American people. By “giving” this person power, it allows Senators to shift blame to an unelected bureaucrat.
Almost nobody has ever heard her name: Elizabeth MacDonough.
But don’t get angry.
The “media” narrative is claiming that she is BLOCKING Trump’s agenda.That won’t happen.
What’s really happening?
The American people are being shown the scam and the unelected bureaucrat that wields unconstitutional power, is being placed on “center stage” and put in the “spotlight.”
Why?
Trump is not just in the process of restoring the president’s Constitutional authority through his many wins against lawsuits at the Supreme Court. I also believe Trump is going to restore the Vice President’s Constitutional authority.
Does the Constitution say that the Vice President is just a figurehead or a “ceremonial position?”
Answer?
No.
The Constitution says that the Vice President is the “President of the Senate.” The Vice President is a purposeful “check and balance” representing the executive branch within the Senate.
Just because past Vice President’s have refused to exercise their Constitutional authority, doesn’t mean that Trump is going to allow that to continue.
JD Vance can easily “overrule” the parliamentarian and ignore her rulings altogether. This is about RESTORING the power of the people. An unelected bureaucrat does not hold any power over officials elected by the people.
And I think Trump welcomes this fight.
Why?
Trump wants the American people to understand how their power over their representatives has been stripped away.
And Trump also knows, that if JD Vance overrules the parliamentarian, the democrats will file a “lawsuit.”
That creates the perfect opportunity to set another future PRECEDENT.
How do you REMOVE the unconstitutional power of an unelected bureaucrat?
Have the Supreme Court rule that the parliamentarian has “no power” under the Constitution. That would FORCE the Senate to take responsibility for the bills they pass, rather than shifting blame.
And guess what?
The VP has overruled the parliamentarian before.
There’s already precedent.
It happened in 1975 and in 1960.It seems like this issue is being set on a “tee.”
Let’s see what happens.
Let’s see if Trump begins to target the parliamentarian in the narrative war.
