You electrical wizzes are reminding me why I’ve always been a “no finger rings” guy in any kind of working ewnvironment. Rings, in my world, are just for taking pictures. We had a tech working on one of the ships some years ago. He reached behind a power panel and his wedding ring touched a live lug, welded to it, and killed him on the spot.

And that’s just one of the ring disasters I’ve been close to. In , or anywhere near, my shop, is a no loose metal of any sort, zone.
