It appears Zelenskyy gave the go ahead to attack parked Russian nuclear capable bombers without informing President Trump. (If true that our President was not consulted nor informed, this isn’t simply a breach of protocol, it’s a geopolitical insult and a warning sign. If Ukraine is willing to conduct strikes with strategic consequences without notifying the White House, we are no longer allies with coordination issues—we are co-belligerents flying blind).

Also given Senator “warmonger” Lindsey Graham’s and Senator “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal’s recent visit, this attack could appear as though it was sanctioned. I pray the Russians have better intelligence than that. IMHO, these two don’t have the sense or common sense to pull something like this off (there will have to be denials though).

FYI, those bombers that were hit HAVE to be out in full view due to nuclear treaty obligations. Zelenskyy took advantage of that. For instance, they appear to have hidden the drones in containers and were driven on trucks near the airbase. Smart use of deception (see photos below).

However, imagine any one of our big bomber bases having the exact same thing done to them. Very costly U.S. Strategic Bombers can be taken out in the same way by anyone with access to inexpensive drones, delivery trucks, explosives, and a bit of technical knowledge (not good and new tactics will now have to be developed).

People, and especially world leaders, need to realize the global implications to such an operation as Ukraine just pulled off.

Russia will respond. Action, reaction, counteraction. Those are the shifting tides of warfare.

This wasn’t a bold action, it was brash. Ukraine’s short-term win could be the world’s long-term loss.

Despite what is a complete mess right now in Europe, there are still solutions to achieving peace. They are narrowing however and time, as it often does, becomes an enemy instead of a useful friend.

Suspect in custody in connection to targeted terror attack in Colorado
There are multiple victims being treated.

The FBI is investigating a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado at an outdoor mall on Sunday.

A suspect is now in custody.

The suspect allegedly threw Molotov cocktails into a crowd at the Pearl Street Mall.

Local news outlets reported that a march for Israeli hostages was taking place in the area where the attack occurred.

A video posted on social media shows a shirtless man yelling at people and calling them “killers.”

There are multiple victims being treated, according to reports.

“We are aware of and fully investigating a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado,” FBI Director Kash Patel wrote on X.

“Our agents and local law enforcement are on the scene already, and we will share updates as more information becomes available,” he added.

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino said FBI personnel are on the scene, along with local law enforcement.

“We are investigating this incident as an act of terror, and targeted violence. All of the necessary assets will be dedicated to this investigation,” he wrote on X. “If you have any investigative tips please contact the FBI. And if you aided or abetted this attack, we will find you. You cannot hide.”

Detailed Account of the Attack

The attack involved 117 drones, hidden in wooden mobile cabins with remotely opening roofs, transported on trucks and launched near four Russian air bases: Belaya in the Irkutsk region (Siberia), Olenya in Murmansk (northwest Russia), Dyagilevo in Ryazan (central Russia), and Ivanovo in Ivanovo region (central Russia). The targets included strategic nuclear-capable bombers such as the Tu-95 and Tu-22M3, as well as A-50 early warning and control planes. Ukraine claims to have hit 41 warplanes, representing 34% of Russia's strategic cruise missile carriers, with an estimated damage cost of $7 billion.

The operation was personally overseen by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and SBU head Vasyl Maliuk, highlighting its strategic importance. Reports indicate the preparation took over a year and a half, with a nerve center set up next to Russia's FSB office, and all operatives evacuated before the attack.

Russian responses, as reported by various sources, confirmed the attacks across five regions but claimed to have repelled them in Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Amur, with fires reported at Belaya and Olenya airbases in Irkutsk and Murmansk, respectively, and no casualties mentioned. Unverified videos and images on Russian social media, including Telegram channels like Baza, showed bombers on fire, supporting Ukraine's claims, though independent verification is lacking.

The distance from the front lines, over 4,300 km (2,670 miles), underscores the operation's audacity and reach.
