Time to protect our families, period.

Deep State has been doing its damndest to destroy the family unit.

We need to jerk our heads out and stop aiding and abetting it.

Poor little guy. I have a chocolate lab and a black lab. They’re incredibly sweet and LIVE to please their humans.

If the day had a high temp of 83, and the ac was working when the dog was left alone in the vehicle (with the inside temp was in the 70’s), HOW LONG was this poor dog left in the car with no one noticing? Seems to me it would take a long time to move the interior temp up enough to kill the dog, even considering the greenhouse effect.

Unless independent witnesses corroborate that the vehicle and/or its ac were left on, I think both were off the whole time, and the dog was killed by gross neglect or intent. Sorry bastard who did it is lying.

The DPS said the vehicle unexpectedly stopped running

So the car was purposely left running unattended? Neat way to help car thieves.

“I dont believe that story about the motor stopping.”

Some of these newfangled vehicles have a fuel-saving feature that turns the engine off even at red lights.

Sorry, not buying it. Just how long was the dog left in the car before found. 83 degrees won’t kill the dog in 15 minutes.

Why leave a dog in a running car for more than a short time. My dad used to take his dog out when he went shopping and leave her in the running car with A/C on. He never left her for more than 30 minutes either.

That would explain why the dog had to die...

If it were one of those vehicle, it would have shut off fairly quickly, but I think they are also programmed so that they will start back up when the car gets warm inside.

With a keyless fob, I think you could leave the car running and still be locked.

I’ll take your word for it. My vehicles are old enough that they barely start and run; I have no experience with any of that fancy stuff... /old fart

I can live without all the newer tech they put in cars now. My newest vehicle is 11 years old & about the only tech is Bluetooth andGPS navigation built-in with the radio. The GPS is out of date and nearly useless now.

Why couldn’t the policeman just take the dog with him while he called for help?

Not the first dog left to die in a police vehicle but you never hear of t he irresponsible officer being fired or punished. But if someone else harms or kills a police animal that person is treated like a murderer.

Double standards.
