I think the pubbies will lose in the midterms anyways, the margins are just too narrow and will take a minimum of cheating to get the handful of seats required to get the House and even the Senate.

That said, I think DJT may go ahead and pull out all the stops after the midterms, especially when the pubbies lose Congress. Because at that point, he's getting impeached anyway so might as well go for broke.
