Putting the blame on the kid is foolish, yes it’s rude to say that even if it’s a kid, but you can’t slam the boy’s head against a window.

Yup. I was a 5 YO in Minnesota in 1958 and said "Hi fatty" to a large woman. My mother heard me and wham!! On the butt. I learned the meaning of the word apology that day too.
