Free from liability was my first warning flag, my second REALLY RED FLAG was the unbelievable PUSH with TV ads, media driving nonstop mantra to get these jabs into EVERYONE!! When ANYTHING is being PUSHED on the public in this way STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM IT!!

That was also my take as well. In my case I was in a wait and see since the shots weren’t universally available right away. Then the first signs it might make those with cardiovascular conditions experience problems which I had (high blood pressure and cholesterol issues) made me think maybe not for me. But then as you note all the wrong people were pushing it hard turned that maybe into a hard no.
