Knowingly infecting someone else with a disease used to be the equivalent of a war crime, and in years past was prosecuted as a death penalty if I recall correctly.

Now they was to decriminalize it?

Is that why:

“Nearly half of Black women are infected with genital herpes”

AI Overview

Yes, research indicates that nearly half of Black women are infected with genital herpes, with studies reporting prevalence rates of about 48%. This is significantly higher than the overall prevalence of herpes in the US, which is around 17%.

Here’s a more detailed look:

High Prevalence:

Studies consistently show that African American women have the highest rates of HSV-2 (the virus that causes genital herpes) compared to other racial groups.

Specific Numbers:
A study from the CDC found that 50% of Black women between the ages of 14 and 49 are infected with genital herpes.

In CommiCalifornia

In California, it is a misdemeanor to knowingly expose someone to HIV with the **intent** to infect them...

The left has some real issues don’t they.

Here’s the flimsy rational the AIDS-left hangs their hat on: U = U.

This is the presumed theory that someone who gets their HIV load down to undetectable levels in their blood cannot transmit the infection to others through sex. “Undetectable = Untransmittable.”

The problem with this is that it is completely on the honor system. Who’s going to believe a new “lover” they just met on a dating site is “undetectable” just because they said so?

And “undetectable” isn’t even a durable status. Being careless in their drug regimen, or contracting a drug-resistant mutation of the virus can cause their viral load to become detectable real fast, much faster than the interval since their last blood test.

You’re only as “undetectable” as the last hours since your last lab work. And even that isn’t certain since HIV has a 9-30 day undetectable window right after an initial infection.
