I had Lasik way back in 2000 ... I’m still here. IDK what all this is about. The worst thing I got out of it was a floater. Mom had it done and loved it so much she and dad paid for me and my siblings to get it. No lasting pain in any of us. And definitely no suicidal thoughts.

It could be that some LASIK locations are better than others. It seems to me that LASIK has become more like a mill in some areas. As with many things, you have to be careful of where you get the procedure done.

I never had eye surgery but I have a few floaters and they are getting more pronounced over time. Correlation does not imply causation.

Same here, had LASIK years ago and thank God, no problems. Best thing I ever did, as I was blind as a bat beforehand and couldn’t tolerate contact lenses. It was either LASIK or Coke-bottle glasses.
