Many people use these words at the beginning of a sentence

I sometimes do that when writing humor. It intensifies the twist.

I have, too.

Sister Mary would slap my hand with the ruler if I submitted an essay using either at the beginning of a sentence.

My personal pet peeve is “would/could/should of.” It’s “would/could/should have.”

Also, people who say/write “Me and John...”

It’s “John and I..” or to/from/with “John and me.”

Not only is it bad form, it’s rude. You should acknowledge the other person first. I have found that people who put themselves first in the sentence tend to be selfish is other areas of their life.
