I’m 65 and am seriously considering getting my first tattoo.
Nothing flashy, just an Arabic letter Nuun on my upper arm.
One of these days I’ll get around to it.
“Nuun is also used in various grammatical functions in Arabic. For example, it is used as a suffix indicating feminine plural verb conjugations, and as a prefix for first-person plural imperfective/present tense verbs”
Sounds GREAT!
WHY?
I am about your age. The only tat I would ever get would be medically related.
If you’re serious, get it where clothes can cover it. I’m 62 and had gotten one on my forearm when I was 18 and it was distracting so about 10 years ago, I had a dermatologist surgically remove it. What he told me is the problem with laser removal of tattoos is there no consistency in inks, depth and some colors don’t respond to laser.
