I have a list of hated requirements/technologies:
Daytime Running Lights you cannot turn off (GM did that for a number of years)
Integrated OnStar and similar
CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission)
Turbo-4 replacing six cylinder as the standard base engine
Safety regs replacing a front bench seat with a ridiculously oversized central console
Combining complex electrical systems together, so if one goes, there is more collateral damage 9entertainment system, drl, HVAC)
Digital displays for speedometer, etc.
The removal of alternator gauges

Technology I have to admit I like:
Electronic fuel injection
Modern distributors instead of points.

Buy a Corvette and configure the gauges.

You left out Drive By Wire steering.

There is no redundancy if the system fails or the vehicle dies while driving.

Plenty of YT vids of vehicles in the shop and steering wheel goes crazy.
