Find it hard to believe Abbott has not known about this “city” for some time. Why he hasn’t done anything is mind boggling.
The fact that this EPIC City had to become a national news story before being ‘halted’, makes me worried about Gov. Abbot. He had to know about it’s inception and ultimate goal.
I’m guessing he was fine with it, since large sums of money were flowing into his state. Short term thinking.
I’ve heard that the next Texas Gov. election takes place
Nov. 3, 2026, and Abbot wants to run for an unprecedented 4th term. Maybe it’s high time for Gov. Abbot to start ‘spending more time with his family.’
