What "obvious continuation of a pattern" do you mean? If one accepts that I was merely "pinging" you because I thought that my postings might interest you, no such "continuous pattern" can be claimed.
I feel that you are being overly sensitive and maybe even a little self-righteous. Nor do I understand what "lies" you are referring to.
I might point out that I also "cc-ed" another FReeper - PIF - who evidently understood that I was simply "pinging" him; he did not, in any event, take offense.
Why can't you simply accept my explanation (which included an apology - something unheard of here at FR!), and move on?

If one was not aware of our long history of posts and communications, they might be convinced to buy into your lame excuses and completely insincere “apology”. Few people here have sincerely apologized to others more frequently than I have when I realized that I had made inappropriate comments or came to conclusions that were wrong.
You have not acknowledged any wrongdoing after smearing me with false accusations. You are like a criminal caught red handed in a lie continuing to proclaim your innocence. It is embarrassing and far below even one who masquerades as a gentleman while virtue signaling and making judgments against others.

Your insincerity is an embarrassment to everyone here desires to carry on a rational discussion. Personally, I have had it with you. I am not really angry or hurt, but I am extremely disappointed. I have given you much more credit here than I should have. It is not the first time that I have been taken in by someone with interesting circumstances and I am sure that it will not be the last.
