Even that’s unlikely, as the U.S.-Mexico border is only about 2,000 miles long. I don’t think the military is going to take over a 50-mile-wide strip along the entire border, though it would certainly cut down on illegal aliens coming from Mexico if they did.

100,000 miles? A quick sketch on Google Earth shows 30,000 miles around North America. Not including all of the zigs and zags of islands and coastlines. Add in Greenland South AMERICA and I bet that is 100,000 miles!
