“Normie: I want to try Linux to replace Win 10.
Me: Good choice. There are 10,000 Desktop Linux distributions. Good luck.”

Lol, think of it like buying a car from the factory. You have a whole lot of options available to fit your personal program. But that comes later after you get a feel for how to drive first. And you want the easiest to drive to learn how to drive on.

Linux Mint Cinnamon...

The cool thing is, with Linux you can always order the next one from the factory with all the options you want or don’t want now that you know how to drive... :)

By the time I factory order, I’ll have another 10,000 Linux distributions, all with woke codes of conduct.

There’s nothing I want more than a bunch of communists in dresses, pretending to be women, telling me how I should support their agenda or leave

Having worked with Unix since the X10 days (and that isn’t a typo), it amazing how little progress has been made by open source outside of whatever Linus is doing.

Unfortunately, the Apple store looks better & better these days.
