Ben & Jerry’s Co-Founder Ben Cohen told Daily Caller News Foundation co-founder Tucker Carlson on Monday that, due to the Pentagon’s inflated budget, the department is a “huge demonic sucking tube.”

Cohen went on to highlight Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. ‘s 1967 speech, in which he criticized the U.S. for prioritizing the Vietnam War over dedicating “necessary funds or energies in rehabilitation of its poor.”
“Martin Luther King gave this speech, and he talked about the Pentagon being this huge demonic sucking tube that sucks out the lifeblood of things like housing, schools,” Cohen added. “Everybody’s school budget is always in the red, or, you know, can’t raise enough money. Gotta get rid of teachers, or whomever, but — ”
“I think that’s when they shot him, is when he said that,” Carlson said.

I had some peripheral interactions with this clown back in the 1990s. Our bank was trying to get their business in our Vermont subsidiary.
They came in with a list of demands—many of which would require that we sever ties with several companies throughout New England.
People are free to do business in whatever way they want. Clearly B&Js is a successful brand. But businesses are also built on relationships that are developed over time. Expecting a business to dump those relationships to curry favor is not an ethical thing to do. And do it acting like an entitled bitch is even worse.

Hey Ben. Where is it in the Constitution that the gubbermint is responsible for housing and schools, compared with what the military does?
