I think we were in Montana and the speed limit was 85. We were doing 95 just to try to keep up with the other drivers and there were cars blowing past us like we were standing still.

Made it from Denver to NYC burbs in 24hrs. w/2 drivers.
~1970 in a 914/6. Through Kansas at about 135.

Just drive across Kansas at that speed. You would be blubbering by the end.
