thank God the people are okay. The condition of the car reveals its true nature. In the end it’s all junk. Only life is sacred.

If all motor vehicles on the roads came from the factory with a built-in device that limited their maximum speed to 35 mph, this sort of accident wouldn't happen as often.

There would, of course, still be the possibility of collisions and even fatalities - but the loss of human life would be far smaller.

And really: Who (except the police and other emergency vehicles) needs to go faster than 35 mph?

Regards,

Good thing the driver didn’t kill some bicyclists.

If I had that car I would never drive it. I would just sit in my driveway revving the engine to upset my neighbors.

Ahhh the memories...we went off the road in the Santa Cruz mountains one rainy night in the 80’s...was “co-driving/navigating” in a SCCA “Time Speed & Distance” rally (us: college students in a semi-souped up VW bug)...no where near Lambo level...we were probably the least expensive car in the rally of Porsches, BMW’s, etc.. Minor fender ding, got back on route and finished Top 10 I think. (Pizza & beer after).

The ‘guard rail’ was/is a reinforced concrete center divide.
He T boned it at 70 from Summit Rd.
Other sources indicated a highly altered blood chemistry.

Idiot thought he was hot shit and could handle the curves up there in a Lambo.

9 is dangerous. Beautiful, but dangerous to morons. You’d be surprised how often I was pulling young kids out of ditches(when they were lucky, not so lucky was off the edge...) because they were in little ricers and pretending they were in fast and furious....

Anybody who has lived in California very long knows one thing when you get feral people in a car bigger ferial thangs happen.

For some reason most people here go nuts when behind a wheel of a car note all the accidents and hit and runs in the state.

With rain the odds increases
