Jen Psaki insists she 'never saw' diminished Biden while working as press secretary

MSNBC host and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki insisted in a new interview that she never saw signs that former President Joe Biden had declined while she worked for him.

"I never saw that person —not a single time, and I was in the Oval Office every day, that was on that debate stage," Psaki said on the "Mixed Signals" podcast about Biden's performance during the June 2024 presidential debate which raised alarms about his fitness to serve another term. He dropped out the following month and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him as the Democratic nominee.

"I'm not a doctor. Aging happens quite quickly," Psaki added on the Semafor podcast that was published Friday.

The former Biden aide, who left the White House in May 2022, said she hadn't seen him in person in the two-and-a-half years afterward leading up to the November election.

But she warned against people using the term "cover-up" to describe how the White House responded to questions about the president's age during that time.

"'Cover-up' is a very loaded term," Psaki said, adding that people typically use that expression when talking about a crime.

"People use that term as related to Watergate. Or the covering up of not sharing public information about a war," she continued. "I think it's a bit of a dangerous term."

Psaki was also hesitant to criticize the media when asked if the press should've been "more aggressive" in covering the "pretty big story" about the president's health.

It’s a true statement only because she qualified it by specifying “the person on that debate stage,” an event occurring well after she’d left the job, when Biden had gotten that much worse than whatever degree of feebleness she had been around to observe.

Think about it, that’s a true statement! Either she never saw Biden or she did not see him diminished because he was so far gone he had already hit bottom. You have to parse everything the libs say!

You and I are seeing this the right way just parsing slightly differently because Ginger Goebbels was Bill Clinton-specific in her parsing:

I just listened to her segment on that podcast to see if there was anything after that plus I wanted to hear her tone and it was exactly that: her tone was a serious qualification about the stumbling bumbling Biden of June 27, 2024. Psaki's not saying she didn't see Biden in decline during her time as press secretary, she's saying she didn't see him as bad as he was at the debate.

There were other interesting things she said that I'll summarize:

• There wasn't a media coverup of Biden's condition because coverup is a dangerous term about criminal behavior like in Watergate. Still an obligatory reference for the Democrats.
• It's our fault that Psaki and the media didn't tell us the truth about Biden's condition because we were saying he was sleeping and out of it early on, but they had to defend against it so "you fight back and at some point, there's an underlying reality that slips away."
• Most interesting of all: If Vance or another MAGA wins in 2028, then Biden will be really treated poorly in the history books because his decision to run in 2024 will not only have led to what is now just the blip of Trump 2.0, but it will be then seen as "a history changing moment."

She is lying. Of course, no Leftist can be trusted to be truthful about anything unless the truth advances their agenda, which it rarely does, otherwise they would be truthful more often.

I wrote this post about this issue when Biden was still President:

If WE can see it, Biden's incapacity is well known to those who have to help him navigate life. This whole thing is asinine.

I have worked in Health Care for decades, and I see people like Biden every single day. Every day. But people see infirm people like Biden every single day too, and for them, it often isn't a job or a mental exercise, it is life. And painful life. They see it in people they encounter, but most often, it is visible in people they love and care for.

All of us have had to take care of, watch over, and even dress or feed someone like Biden. This isn't rocket science.

When we see Biden walking, he has that shuffle. His arms do not swing when he walks unless he forces them to which makes it look forced and fake. His hands hang limply, yet are stuck in a characteristic pose which indicates the brain isn't sending any signals to his hands unless it is forced to.

His mouth hangs open, agape in a characteristic look one sees in pre-toddlers, again, unless his brain forces it to assume what emotion it thinks should be on the face at any given time, which again, like the non-swinging arms, gives the face an air of artificiality. It is as if the brain has to think about a face to display, reaches into a library of facial expressions, pulls one down off the shelf and puts it on. Other people look at it, and think something is askew, not right.

But it is the eyes that are a dead giveaway. The eyes have a characteristic look that is put on by the brain. It is the look of a house as viewed by a passing car that has a light in the living room which is set to go on-and-off at a given time each day to give the appearance of being lived in.

It is the characteristic "the lights are on but nobody is home" look. It is the default look his face assumes when he is on stage looking one way while everyone is walking off in the other direction. Inside his brain, no doubt there is a glimmer, a sliver of thought that occupies the entire functioning capability of his brain, and robs it of the ability to multi-task. Most of us can think "I have to go to the men's room" while at the same time thinking "I have to follow the others off stage" and also think "I am glad the debate is over...I have to fly back to Washington tonight, and should be in bed by midnight" while recognizing a face in the crowd and thinking "Hey, there's Steve!" and giving a wave and a smile.

When Biden is on that stage, his brain is saying "There are a lot of lights. Lights. Noise." even though someone is clutching at his arm. And all it is saying is "Lights. Noisy." not what a normal person would think.

I would normally feel a great amount of compassion and sympathy, since we will all go there. But in this case, it fills me with anger, contempt, and hatred for those who put this scummy shell of a human stain through this for their own gratification and greed.

And that anger is directed at the evil people who know what a charade this is, and are pretending people are "just noticing" it.
