I once told my young children that places like McDonald's hire someone to sit on the burgers before putting them in the bag, which is why they don't look like the photos. They half-believed me.

Capitulating and facilitating the Beast?

If I see a Kiosk I turn right around, walk back out, and go where they do not require it and I refuse to use apps because they are selling your private data. Your number, all your contacts, track you, Etc.

for about $5.40 ,- $5.80

Similar for Quarter Pounder with cheese

2 chicken (not McChicken) costs me about $4.60 at the cheapest McDonald’s.

Two days ago (with the app) I got free medium fries 🍟 and a McChicken for $2.27 total with tax.

The free fries is on the app with a $2 purchase. You just have to pick a McDonald’s that charges $2.08 for the McChicken and not $1.99, hehe

I resisted using the McDonald’s app for a long time because I hate using apps but to its credit McDonald’s has a good deal every now and then and I pretty much can get a breakfast sandwich at my choice for $2 every day. I’ve been using that quite a bit.

We have their cousin Hardee’s here where I live and I love their breakfasts. You can get biscuits and gravy all day long.
