Interesting about Tom Kite. I have a book by Harvey Penick which has a photo of Mr. Penick sitting and Kite and Crenshaw standing behind him.
The seniors were playing at North Shore Country Club in Glenview Il... I was able to get Ben Crenshaw to sign on the photo.(with the help of a local police officer - he stopped him coming off the last green)
I went to the next years’ event hoping to get Kite to autograph the book. He ignored everyone on his way off the last green to the clubhouse, then wouldn’t come out to the autograph area.
I have Kite’s book “How to Play Consistent Golf” which is on of my mainstays.

I have a cousin that I think still runs some of the public courses in Atlanta. He's got a million stories from the old dudes at the Booby Jones course about Mr. Trevino. The Dr. Pepper stories are true.
