This is the document that mentions chlorinated pool water that I ran into today.

Synthetic fragrances, cosmetics, and chemical-based skin products should be completely removed before DMSO application. Even chlorinated pool water should be avoided when using DMSO, as it could carry harmful chlorine compounds into the body.

Thank you for the link and your posted statement is indeed in the article. I scoured it for recommendations about oral use of DMSO but it dealt mostly with topical and a bit with injectable DMSO. He didn’t address oral use very much, which is how I’m using it, but I shouldn’t have to worry about swimming in a chlorinated pool. If someone finds me doing the dead woman float after my next swim, I’ll have them post a retraction on my behalf 😁 Of course, that would require that we actually see the sun in the coming weeks. It’s been low 50’s and raining for weeks now and that’s expected to continue for 3-4 more days yet. This has been the wettest and coldest May in 26 years.
