They’re not ‘suggesting’, it’s a fact that there was a Battle of Megiddo which took place during the Kdm of Israel period. During the 19th or early 20th century there was at least one Battle of Megiddo between the Ottoman Turks and probably the British, if memory (such as it is) serves.

Thanks!
Megiddo’s sister city, Yougiddo, hasn’t yet been found.

Okay, I’m not proud of that one.

Those Ottomans. Imagine, a whole empire based on putting your feet up.
Thanks jjotto.

Archaeological excavations need to continue until they find Himgiddo, Hergiddo and Themgiddo as well.

They should go back to exporting hand-crafted ottomans from their homeland in Mongolia-Kazakhstan and leave Anatolia alone.

Never been to Mongolia. I have been to Kazakhstan. I just don’t recall very many ottoman stores there. I’m sure there were probably a few.
One last Seinfeld reference, if I may. It sounds like you’re saying that they should focus on the exporting and not the importing. That would sound like practical advice.

LOL!
I spent ages trying to track down a tune from probably the mid- to late 1980s, I remember it as “Hot Kiddo”. Bupkis. Wound up listening to a bunch of candidates on YouTube that, it turned out, I didn’t like. My own stupid fault. :^)
