On a similar subject my wife left the brochure for one of those European river cruise companies on the kitchen table recently.

I leafed through it briefly and told her we are only 61 & 62. We are not OLD enough for these.

The river cruises are amazing, Only 145 passengers, no kids, no pool, no casino, and great food. Throw in a different city every day, and only unpacking once.

River cruises are definitely NOT just for old people!! There are NO KIDS, but most are middle aged.....40-70....depending on the line. We did 4 Crystal River Cruises and they were the BEST TIME EVER!

My wife and i are about the same age. She saw a TV commercial for the same company. They were doing a tour of the St Lawrence Seaway out to Canada’s maritime. it looked interesting.
