On Chrome/google I search for addresses that are clearly addresses. The top results are obscene raw sex ads. Below the top results are ads that have zero related to my address searches.

I get only half the results I know are relevant (in the first few pages). If flip the parts of the address and a different half are returned.

The global, the general is always preferred over the specific, the detail. I search for 123 Main St 30303 and the results are general to GA.

All of this is different from Chrome/google 4 days ago.

For my usage, Chrome/google is now useless. I’ll revisit Mozilla and Bing and get familiar with them.

Either you're not being careful with your search terms or your computer is infected.
