I thought the instruction from the Tower to the helicopter was vague and irresposible ; instead of "go around behind flight 5342" the command should have been "slow airspeed to under 3knots at an elevation of 200 ft " ( some useful instruction not a vague generality relying on an assumption that the pilot has visual contact on flight 5432)
then add to that pilot error interpreting what "go around behind" means

“instead of “go around behind flight 5342”
That was NOT the instruction.
“then add to that pilot error interpreting what “go around behind” means”
That was NOT the instruction.

Sounds like the newspeak phonetic alphabet . . . A is for Alice, B is for ball, C is for car . . . etc. . . . .
MANY times I have occasion to phonetically spell with Filipina call centers and they ALL use the military, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta etc.

I thought the instruction from the Tower to the helicopter was vague and irresposible ATC wasn't doing the flying, the last 12-20 secs were in the vid, VFR means see and avoid. No way they couldn't see the jet with ALL its lights on.
