If the 14th Amendment has spawned the following:
* anchor babies
* abortion
* homosexual "marriage"
perhaps it would be best to repeal it and start all over.
A lot of people think the 14th amendment is a great amendment.
The more I have learned about it, the more I realize it was one of the worst amendments this nation ever produced.
Firstly, it was fake ratified. All the Southern states legislatures had been replaced by fake legislatures under the control of the Union Army.
Constitutional ratifications are supposed to represent the actual will of the people, not of puppet governments put in by a dictator.
With legitimate state legislatures, neither the 13th, the 14th, or the 15th amendments would have passed.
Secondly, the evidence indicates the 14th amendment was not done for moral reasons. It was done for raw political power. The radical (liberal) Republicans wanted to make all those freed slaves into their own personal voter army, because they knew the former slaves would always vote for them.
They didn't pass the 14th amendment to help blacks, they passed it to increase their control of government in Washington DC. They did it for themselves, not the nation or the people.
Thirdly, it was written by an idiot. It has holes in it so large you can drive a truck through them. It goes too far, and is too ambiguous in it's meaning.
The 14th is the source for a lot of judicial idiocy and judicial activism.
At this point, the 14th is doing more damage to the nation than benefit.

I also added banning prayer in schools to your list, which has been yet another Santa Claus Christmas tree item they've promoted this way. But none of it is actually foundational. Perhaps you haven't heard this one before, but here goes: Judges are known to lie.
Not one of those items comes from the 14th amendment. Those things come exclusively from activist judges in addition to the machinations of people who believe in and agree with a belief in the living and breathing constitution.
The 14th amendment is a slavery amendment and nothing more.
