Not all those kids who died were undesirables. I knew one who was a straight A student athlete. He fell in love with a wild girl and they started partying with the wrong crowd in college. It didn’t take long... he wrecked his car and killed both of them while under the influence of fent. All in... took less than six months for him to go from everything a guy could want in a son, to dead. That drug is pure evil.

True. And those who take it (or any other drug not prescribed for an illness, since fentanyl is frequently added to them) are knowingly choosing to risk their lives. Is that a desirable trait?
I've long advocated the death penalty for all drug dealers, from classroom to street level to kingpin. No deals, and no 20 years between conviction and execution. I'd happily add enablers who finance the trade and profit from it or transport it.
