A 16 piece meal at KFC is over $55. How can a bucket of chicken be over $50 dollars… Everything on this menu is so expensive
Who is buying this, who can afford this? People on EBT?

Thank you very much and God bless you.
What is a steak costing??!
How much have you got?
Might be some local influence, because I see a 16 piece bucket for $51.
It’s $10 for a whole roasted at Publix. 2-3 would equal that bucket. And we all know that EBT shoppers are smart shoppers!
I’m intrigued what a good steak meal for 2 costs.
“Shop around” I guess we’ll hear that phrase a lot now no longer can we take certain places (or prices) for granted
They have debased the money so much you’ll notice things like this...
Cost of a steak dinner for two can vary greatly depending on the restaurant. A simple steak dinner for two could be under $50, while a high-end steakhouse with a premium cut and drinks could easily exceed $300.
Appetizers, salads, sides, wine, and other beverages can significantly increase the bill plus tip and sales tax can add another 20-25% to your final bill.
😲
Sounds like things are getting expensive...
Do you own the cow?
Sam’s Club has whole roasted large chickens for $4.99. Roasted but refrigerated for $3.91. I bought 2 yesterday.
What about fish? Is that a good alternative when eating out?
“It’s $10 for a whole roasted at Publix”
Half that at Costco, though 100% a loss leader and they are bigger birds than other stores.
Having said that this KFC 16 piece meal is $59 in my neck of the woods.
I just looked up a 16 piece bucket where I live. $57.00!
To battle inflation, I suggest looking up which farmers will sell a side of beef direct to customers. It might only save $0.50/lb, but that is $500 for the cow.
At least you can still shop around with reports of loss leaders (Costco etc) but for how long ?
I reckon this is just the start of the inflation it’s still filtering through from Biden/Covid days.
A fish dinner at a casual dining restaurant typically costs between $10 and $25 per meal
depending on the type of fish, the restaurant, and whether it’s part of a combo meal or entree.
3-piece catfish dinner might cost around $16.99, while cod could cost a bit more.
Fast food fish sandwiches, like the Filet-O-Fish, can range from $4.59 for
the sandwich to $5.99 for a combo meal, depending on the location and offer.
Sounds good value Liz
Eating out has been expensive for a few years now. The prices rise, the food gets smaller, or both.
I assume the only reason this is mentioned now is to blame it on tariffs because Rand is against tariffs.
The real rise of prices began during Biden and only now people are whining?
Beef prices are terrible and have been for years.
Look at you being all healthy...
You are missing that fried goodness and the 11 herbs and spices...

“People on EBT?”
Probably. When I was a kid, I lived in a neighborhood where 50% of the families were on welfare and food stamps. Every “check day” they would feast on junk food and expensive crap then go with hardly any food the rest of the time. No ability to plan or learn from their experiences.
