After 3 days of terror and mayhem attempting to learn the cause of a sudden problem with my gmail. I abandoned Brave for Chrome. Brave suddenly decided to, unannounced, no longer support Windows 7 thus gmail. Apparently it had to do with the introduction of AI into the gmail format - or something! Frustrating as I liked Brave - up to the moment they screw me, so never again.

I use gmail on Brave every day on Win 7. Brave doesn't "support" Win 7 because Chrome doesn't "support" Win 7. You can no longer install Brave on Win 7 from the Brave website but you can find the installer online. Slowly various web sites are ceasing to function on the Win 7 compatible Brave, however. The only streaming site left that doesn't throw a hissy fit is Netflix.
