My wife was doing the yard on her riding mower. She came tearing around the house yelling about a snake. When she made a close pass around a tree, a snake fell out of the tree. Six foot long black racer. I think the snake was more afraid than she was. BTW, black racers are the good guys. They will kill ratlers.
We have blue racers amongst the many here in TX.
