I lived in North Bend just a few miles east of Issaquah, for almost 21 years and watched as Issaquah degraded into a bedroom extension of several adjoining Democrat cities. It was ruined, It went from a fairly idyllic small town, to a bumper to bumper nightmare.
I drove through daily(1979 to 2000), as I worked at Boeing Seattle’s Boeing field.
If there was an elected Republican in the entirety of King county I don’t remember them.
Many states would be very different with honest elections. WA, OR, CA and CO in particular.
Issaquah of the 70s and early 80s was a beautiful town to grow up in. It’s a shame about what it’s become. :(
