If you have $100k to burn, get yourself ripped off buying a POS, post-COVID built new RV at Camping World. Even their used RVs need a thorough inspection by a pro. They do not stand behind what they sell and take advantage of retired people. That flag is an attraction-getting ruse to impulsive suckers who shop there thinking the place is patriotic for doing that. Unless they are not pulled far and stay in RV parks a lot, RVs are worse investments than used cars. I did a lot of shopping three years ago and was lucky to find a diamond in the rough about 150 miles away first on RV Trader which then ended up on Facebook Marketplace when there were no takers on RV Trader. I started looking at Camping World and was disgusted by the sales tactics and then the horror stories.

My dad and cousin both individually did the same thing. Had a pie in the sky idea about bumming around the country in an RV as retired people. Found out it is a huge hassle driving those stupid things and not nearly as fun as you imagine. Then you have to pay to store the stupid thing. So if you want one, rent one.
