“I simply stated an opinion.”
No, you stated it as fact. That is a fact, not my opinion.
Nope, that is your erroneous opinion- it screams metrosexual- if you don’t agree, that’s fine, that’s our opinion-
Here, lemme help,you
An opinion expresses someone’s feelings views or ideas about something or someone- whether factual or not-
A person does not have tO say something like “it is my opinion” when stating an opinion- “beer tastes good” is an opinion- and is not a statement of universal fact. one does not have to state “my opinion is that beer tastes good”- it is assumed that a person is giving their personal opinion and not a statement of fact, and therefor doesn’t need to state that the statement is their opinion. It is no more a “statement of fact” than what I stated, it is merely a person’s opinion- some people can’t stand the taste of beer- and will say “no it doesn’t”. neither OPINION is stated as a universal fact- both are stated as “feelings views or ideas” of the person making the statement about a subject.
And btw- you stated “no it doesn’t” - really? Have you proven that it doesn’t? No? Then how can you, using your logic or illogic as the case may be, make a “statement of fact” like that? You didn’t- you gave your —opinion— that it doesn’t scream that. But your opinion isn’t established fact nor would anyone conclude that it is even though you didn’t include “in my opinion, no it doesn’t “
