Keep reading the type of fiction you love and get a feel as to how the writers you love get their ideas to come to life. Let your own characters and plots play in your head like a movie. When it grabs you, then get it down on paper. Go with the ideas that grab you even if they’re a little crazy. There’s a niche audience for all types of fiction somewhere, in little magazines, or uploaded to Amazon. About your novel, it moved well. Kept my interest. Flesh out the characters so we get a better picture of them. Make it clear from beginning there’s a,sci first element, otherwise itsy jarring when we expect a political filler and then the,aliens cone in.
