I still won’t be using Chrome for casual browsing.

I went on a serious de-Googling spree after the James Damore incident. That has been almost 8 years ago now.

I don’t like Reddit because of their politics, but they are useful for some things. Here is one of them:

I have been looking into memory (hogging) usage. Chrome is best when used with “Tab Suspender” extension. The best over Edge and Brave. On all three I use Bing as search engine.

Here is how to restart Chrome to dump and renew memory usage. Type this into address bar, then press Enter >>>> chrome://restart

I have degoogled too. The only thing we cannot get away from are all the embedded 3rd party Google spy services just about every website on the internet utilizes as an industry standard. THIS is where the true monopoly is happening from Google and they have yet to even mention or address this reality.

Congress talks about Advertisements and Censorship but they absolutely will not mention all the privacy and security data collection violations coming from hidden spy scripts. Why? Because then they would be also limiting their own government intrusions and hidden data collection.
