Also, you want to try to get them nice and plump, not shriveled up. It is shocking what some stores will try to sell!

Any pics of examples of what to look for in buying ginger?
Ginger is super easy to grow.
Get a hunk of ginger root from the grocery, chop it up, soak in tray of water for several days to a week, pot them when after roots sprout.
She’s cute, but I’ll stick with Anne Margaret (in her day, a tad short but ... wow) or Sarah Rafferty (Donna in Suits, nice and tall) or even Kelly Reilly (Beth in Yellowstone).
Hubba hubba ;-)
I’ll have to take your word for it. Lol.
No, get a knob of the fresh plant in the vegetable department.
I keep it in the veg drawer in my refrigerator. It can be grated or chopped as needed.
I have cancer and also keep candied ginger on hand to nibble when nauseous.
I get that at Trader Joe’s.
My electric reloading scale does not do grams, so how do you figure out how much grated ginger to use?
Unfortunately, I don’t know how to post pictures. However, if you look up just ginger and then go to images, you will get lovely pictures :) especially from stores! Just avoid wrinkly, dried out ones — sometimes I don’t even buy because there are no nice ones.
Got a clue a few post prior for whole ginger and saw pics when I looked up stores that carried it.
bttt
I may have grated the ginger too fine due to liquid of the root staying on my grater (done over a blender).
Will use a more coarse grate tomorrow.
